Thai Bodywork

Thai bodywork, sometimes referred to as Thai massage, is typically done on a padded mat on the floor. No oil or lotion is applied, so you are fully clothed. The therapist uses his or her hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of stretches and also applies muscle compression, joint mobilization, and acupressure. It is often used to relieve stress and protect against stress-related health issues. Thai bodywork may also boost energy, and improve range of motion and flexibility.

Thai Bodywork Benefits

Clients often report feeling "longer," "expanded," "looser," "deeply relaxed," "refreshed" and more aware of their body. It can have therapeutic benefit for many conditions, especially tight hamstrings and general stiffness, muscular aches in low back, hips, and shoulders, as well as mild rheumatoid arthritis.

A great aid in both recovering and maintaining good health!
