Did you know that a higher intake of sugar and carbohydrates over time can cause deteriorated brain function? When a person eats products with sugar in them, or grain based foods such as pasta, bread, rice, crackers, cookies, etc, they are converted to sugar in the body and elevate glucose or blood sugar levels.

You've heard of "YOU ARE WHAT YOU EAT", but I like to say “YOU ARE WHAT YOU DIGEST!” You actually get a lot of your enzymes from the foods that you eat. However, the problem is that foods these days are lacking in enzymes because of over processing. Over a lifetime of eating, our bodies' ability to manufacture enzymes can get overworked. This is due to a lack of eating foods that have natural enzymes in them.
