Do you have digestion issues like nausea, or bloating? Listen in as Marty Johnson explains why this is the case.
If you’ve had your gallbladder removed, you’re familiar with symptoms including gastric reflux and discomfort under your rib cage. Physicians often test for gall stones but fail to consider that static bile may be the actual cause of a patient’s gallbladder pain. Many times, gallbladder issues are caused by thick bile that backs up into the gallbladder rather than by gall stones.
When we work with people who are still experiencing symptoms of gallbladder problems but don’t have a gallbladder anymore, we often discover that the underlying cause of the problem – thick bile – was never addressed. Your gallbladder might be gone, but bile is still being delivered through your bile duct from the liver to the digestion system to help you break down fats. If bile is too thick, it doesn’t move very well through the duct, causing the same symptoms as when you still had a gallbladder.
Fortunately, there are ways you can help your body after gallbladder surgery. We often recommend bile salt tablets and natural products that will thin the bile efficiently. We’ve seen great success with this course of action, but be sure to ask for a consultation before trying it on your own.
If you still have your gallbladder, but are experiencing symptoms such as bloating and indigestion, thick bile may also be the culprit. There ways to flush your liver out as well as natural products which can help thin out your bile so it flows better. This will reduce your discomfort and help support the health of your gallbladder.
Of course, your situation is unique and personal. Be sure to ask questions and work with a practitioner who can determine the root cause of your problem and give you personalized advice.
