Green Bean Casserole
Ingredients

Ingredients – use organic wherever possible
8 oz. bacon, cooked until crisp and set aside
1 small onion, diced
4 oz. mushrooms, finely diced
1/4 c butter, lard, or reserved bacon grease
1 c cream or coconut milk
3 egg yolks
salt and pepper to taste
ground nutmeg to taste
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed and cut in half
1/4 c almond meal or almond flour
1/4 c almond slivers
